I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle Crime - them from / theft of, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We are seeing a huge increase in vehicle crime in CAERPHILLY in the past couple of weeks. We have seen that this is an ongoing issue with all vehicles, and lately we have seen an increase in Nissan vehicles. Key-less car thefts are on the rise. Please ensure you secure your car keys in a FARADAY BAG or BOX that is away from any windows or doors in your property. DO NOT leave any valuables in your vehicle or on show at any time and park your vehicle in a well-lit area.

We are also seeing an increase in number plate thefts, so ensure that your number plates are on securely and are screwed on.

Please report any suspicious activity in your area or any issues you feel are necessary to 101 or in any emergency situation, please call 999.
